Tulum Wedding Photography – Mia Beach Club Wedding

I fully understand the obsession with Tulum. It’s a magical, impressive, other wordly place. Our trip was brief, but we managed to swim in cenotes with turtles, jump in the ocean, visit ruins, and eat all. of. the food. We also managed to see these two wonderful humans get married.

Nabil and Susan are the kind of people that thought they wanted an intimate pop up ceremony, with just close family, followed by a larger party with friends. But. No wanted wanted to miss the ceremony so we shifted to one big party all day long. They tied the knot right on sand at Mia Beach Club and we taxied over to Chacabar for a perfect reception under the trees. I loved that they combined both beach and a little urban jungle in their day.

The part about destination weddings that makes for such magic is that you get to spend a few days with all your favorite people, not just a few hours. Adventures, relaxation, meals, drinks, dance parties, all shared for a weekend with the ones you love who put a little pause on their life back home and hop over to Mexico with you. Somehow getting a glimpse of how big the world is can make a celebration of marriage and life even more intimate.

Nabil and Susan thank you for inviting us along on your adventure! You both are amazing humans and I’m honored to have captured just a little of your magic through this day!
