I can’t believe I’ve lived in southern California all of my life and never ventured out to Forest Falls. I mean come one, there’s a waterfall (flowing most of the year!) so. close. by! And it’s the mountains, like, without driving in the mountains. It’s kind of like you teleport. And for this mountain lover that somehow can get carsick while driving, it’s a wonderfully welcome surprise.  Luckily for me, this beautiful family wanted to take this year’s portraits there, because it’s one of their favorite local adventure day spots. I love getting to photograph families in locations special to them. And now I’ve got a new favorite adventure spot, and a great spot to see more fall color than we get down here at (basically) sea level!
