Sweet In Home Newborn session – Pasadena Newborn Photography

I love seeing my old friends bring beautiful babies into this world. I feel so lucky to have these few hours spent with new parents and new babies in the comfort of their home. Part of me feels like I get to be privy to such a special intimate part of people’s lives, which is exactly what I want to capture, but it’s not lost on me that it’s also just really cool to get to witness this stage in someone’s life. Everything is still new- feeding, changing, trying to convince a baby to sleep… learning everything is on the babe’s new and ever-changing schedule. These sessions are an exercise in patience for everyone, but also a lesson in slowing down, listening to the babe’s cues, and being a calm and present force. Kind of a magical experience.
