These two are the kindest, sweetest, toughest couples I’ve come across in awhile. They had a simple “the show must go on” attitude all day, and despite the 108 degree heat, and a few hiccups, these two went all smiles into the their dream wedding. You guys, this day was HOT. Really, really warm, but bride groom, wedding party and guests were all committed, smiling and ready to take on whatever they needed to as long as it meant Randy and Kortney were committing themselves to each other.
I know I’ve mention my love of people-watching before, but that also translates very well into wedding photography I think. I love being put into a new group of 150 people each weekend, and getting to experience different groups of friends and family as they celebrate their bride and groom’s “best day of their lives” – seriously, it’s a little surreal. But one of my favorite parts is getting to hear friends and family as they speak about the bride and groom. You really get a pretty intimate glimpse into the lives of a couple. So, as always, I loved getting to hear the kind words friends and family shared about Randy and Kortney. My heart swelled as I saw tears and heard stories of what these two meant to each other, and to their families and friends new and old.
So thank you two, and your wonderful friends and family. Thanks for being troopers, thanks for being in love, thanks for being wonderful and kind individuals. I’m so glad you found each other, and cheers to a lifetime of happiness!!
