Natalie and Gavin – The Resort at Pelican Hill – Newport Beach Wedding Photography

Sometimes, I just have too much fun at weddings. This one was one of those times. Pelican Hill is a jaw-droppingly beautiful venue, and as an added bonus, I was in great company- Nick Corona Photography was kind enough to have me along for this gorgeous wedding! The venue is just perfect: amazing views, immaculate grounds, and holy moly exceptional food. And Natalie and Gavin are such a fabulously fun couple! Gavin and his family are from Australia, so I was getting lessons on my Aussie accent. Best advice ever, straight from an Australian: “just leave out like half the letters.” Brilliant. I already do that anyway! (if I’m really excited (which I usually am at weddings) I usually just run all my words together in one giant exclamation). And of course, a super fun bride and groom have an awesome bunch of friends and family, so the party was out of control! (in only the best ways of course!)
