Erin and Joey: a long awaited, yet impromptu Corona engagement session

If not for Erin, Corey Morgan Photography would simply not exist. Corey Morgan might not even exist either, but that part is debatable. Erin convinced me to take pictures, then convinced me to take pictures… like… seriously. And then she helped to convince me to quit my day job and give this whole dream an honest shot. So basically, Erin is amazing.

In high school, Erin developed my film rolls and I’d print her pictures. The whole taking the film out of the canister and putting your fingers on the negatives really freaked me out. So I’d pretty much have an anxiety attack thinking I’d ruin the awesomeness I’d been working on and shooting all week. Film is crazy. Unfortunately in college I didn’t have Erin to develop my film. You bet I sent those rolls out to be developed in a real lab. Loooooved my time in the dark room though.  I honestly miss the smell so much. If you’ve been in one- you know.

Anyway, shortly after our high school photo class, Erin met her dream man. And they are finally getting married. I could not be more excited. This is the first of a small series of engagement shoots for the lovely couple. We shot these honestly just around my neighborhood, because the skies were so threatening and we’d already rescheduled the shoot a couple times due to rain. But location just doesn’t matter when you’ve got a great looking and fabulously in love couple. Love you guys, can’t wait for the wedding!
