Riverside Family pictures. Downtown Riverside Portrait Photographers

I love getting to watch this family grow! Such a pleasure to capture their milestones, and capture all the smiles. This little babe literally was stopping strangers in their tracks, just enamored by her sweet smile. SO much personality! I love getting to shoot in downtown Riverside after the festival of lights decor goes up. If you can wait on your family pictures until a little later in the season, the decor makes for great holiday photos.

Michelle and Tyler Pregnancy Pictures. Maternity Session Laguna Beach CA

I cannot truly express how adorable these two are together. I loved getting to spend time with them at their wedding, and now as their family is growing, it’s so nice to be able to celebrate with them again. Michelle has such a kind and gentle spirit, and that pregnancy glow is pretty much perfection on her. So excited for these two to welcome their new babe to this world!

Newborn Photographer Orange County. In Home Newborn Session

I love this sweet in home newborn session. This little babe was a bit older than the traditional “newborn” age range, so he wasn’t thrilled with sleeping on his own, but that made for perfect snuggly photos with his mom and dad. I always think a newborn session at your own home is special because everyone is usually so much more comfortable in their own environment AND I get to see the cutest nurseries. I love how calming their grey baby animal theme is! Thanks for sharing your cute little babe with me!

The Homestead in Oak Glen Wedding. Cassie + Brett. Oak Glen Wedding Photographers

Cassandra and Brett planned a wedding in Southern California while living on the East Coast, both serving our country. While the Homestead in Oak Glen does take care of most of the details, I love how Cassandra and Brett added in their own little touches and incorporated their love of all things nerd in their May the Fourth wedding. Star Wars? Obviously. But why not also mix in a pinch of Harry Potter and just a hint of Game of Thrones to round it out. That’s my favorite part of weddings, really. You can do whatever you want, and you can absolutely make it your own. There are traditions, sure. But you can choose which ones have meaning to you and you can mix in whatever influences and quirks will make your day feel personal and special. Cassandra had an adorably sweet first look with her father. She planned so many little details and gifts for her friends and family, it was beautiful to see her taking time and effort to make sure everyone felt included and celebrated. I love how many little moments throughout this day brought on happy tears. Post ceremony giant smiles are THE. BEST.We don’t always get to see a good cake fight at a wedding, but we sure love when we do!

Joshua Tree Wedding and Elopement Photographer. Joshua Tree engagement session.

Start with drinks, hike a mile through Joshua Tree, end up with a perfect desert sunset. Such a perfect engagement session recipe. An afternoon’s adventure through Joshua Tree is always worth the drive for me, the desert holds a tiny little bit of magic that is rather hard to explain if you haven’t been. So, as usual, I’ll encourage you to get out there and adventure. Choose from a plethora of adorable airbnb’s or pitch a tent in the middle of the desert and explore the unreal light in the early mornings, and the never ending sunsets. go go go go.

those joshua tree sunsets, am i right?
