No matter how old I get, or how far in the past my “school days” drift, there is this tiny twinge of pain as the last little bit of summer fades away. Fall is one of my favorite seasons; I love the cooler weather, I welcome big sweaters, and as soon as October hits I start to make giant pots of soup. Life in general hits a rhythm and relaxes a bit. But there is something magic about summer, and something so bittersweet as the days quickly start to shorten and the sun starts to be just a little bit more mellow… I’m always so thankful for an excuse to hit the beach for a September evening.
This session captured a little bit of that late summer (ok, actually fall!) magic. The day was warm, as we braved the high tide for a laid back little walk on the beach. These two will are getting married in just two short months, and I cannot wait to celebrate with them on the beaches of Mexico!
