Charlotte warned that it would be windy. But when I heard “windy” I thought…. maybe… a strong afternoon breeze, at most …maybe similar to a light Santa Ana wind. No big deal. Well. It was in fact windy, but more like the kind of wind where you can’t really get your car door open, your hair is in your face even when you just put it up in a bun, and well, you have to lean into it. hard. just to keep your balance. But Charlotte was a CHAMP. That brilliant smile remained unwavering.

She wanted to shoot in the dry lake bed near where she grew up so as her adventures take her across the country, she’d always have a little piece of home with her. Charlotte is on her way to New York, where I know she will continue to shine! She is remarkably welcoming, bubbly, confident and so so sweet. Good luck my dear, though I know you don’t need it!
